How to join
Register your team
Everything happens on Start.gg. There, you'll be able to register and form a team for the event. If you plan to compete, the earlier you register the better.
No team yet?
Join the Discord and ask in #looking-for-team. Plenty of people come in looking for a fourth.
Just watching?
Spectator registration is always 15 dollars even on the day of the event itself.

What it's about
Torontoroka is the one we build toward all year. A full day of the community at its biggest. A proper team tournament, a packed venue, and the energy that only comes around once a season.
Teams compete through the bracket for prizes and the year's bragging rights. Newcomers and spectators are just as welcome as veterans. A lot of first-timers use Torontoroka as their way into the scene.
OISE Building

St George Station
Line 1 and Line 2 both stop here. Follow the signs inside the station for the OISE exit.

The exit brings you up at the OISE building. Take the elevator up to the fifth floor.
GO and VIA trains both arrive at Union Station, which is on the subway. From there, take Line 1 north and you're at St George in about ten minutes, no transfer needed.
The rooms
Two rooms, side by side, on the fifth floor. 5160 is the front door, with check-in, casual play and the artist alley. The bracket lives next door in 5170.
Food nearby
You're on Bloor Street, so food is immediately outside the door, and the Annex is a few minutes west.
Parking
Rotman Garage is a five-minute walk, about $10 flat on evenings and weekends.
What to bring
Console, Splatoon 3 and Controller
Any type of Switch, any controller.
Dock
Only needed if you're not playing handheld.
A water bottle
ACORN registration
Only if you're a UofT student.
Headset with a micDraft only
For the draft bracket, needs to connect over a 3.5mm cable.
LAN adapterDraft only
Required if you're not using a docked Switch 2.
Forgot something? Ask staff first.
Every dock, adapter and charging brick on the tables belongs to someone. Don't take one off a setup, even for a minute. Find a staff member and we'll help you out.
The event day
Come in through 5160
5160 is our entrance to Torontoroka! Check-in is at the table near the door. Tell us your team name, or that you're here to watch, with the name you registered on Start.gg.
Get some casual games in
Eight casual setups line the wall for warm ups, private battles, anything really. Meet some new people and have a great time!
Go say hi to the artists
The tables on the opposite side of the room are our artist alley tables! Check them out between your matches. They've got some amazing stuff.
Head through to 5170 for the bracket
A door at the back of the room takes you into 5170, the main room for Torontoroka. We have three stations for the bracket, commentators in the center and a ton of seats to watch the games!
Leave through 5170
5170's door only lets you exit. Need to get back in? Walk around to the 5160 entrance to keep the flow of traffic clean.
