We are a grassroots organization that runs in person Splatoon events in Toronto! We run different types of events such as Casual Private Battles, Draft Brackets, Tournaments, Salmon Run, and more!

Splatoon Toronto is a GTA-based community organization that frequently collaborates with UofT Splatoon. Splatoon Toronto primarily runs monthly in person events while UofT does bi-weekly online drop-ins. We are both independent organizations with different affiliations but come together to foster a friendly Splatoon community within Toronto.

No, we're a fan-run community, not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo.

Anyone. All ages and skill levels are welcome across every event. We recommend anyone under the age of 13 to be accompanied by an parent/guardian. Parents/guardians are not required to pay unless they themselves are playing.

Online drop-ins are free. In-person events like Squid Social cost $10 if you are playing and free if you are spectating. UofT students receive $5 off admission for Squid Social events if they show their ACORN registration at the check-in table. Bigger events like Torontoroka have tiered payments that increase closer to the deadline.

Everything runs through our Discord, where schedules and announcements land first.

No, but to participate in the draft bracket, you must be checked in by 1:30. Otherwise, you'll only be able to join the casual lobbies. We wrap up around 6 with the winners' photo and a group photo outside.

There are absolutely no skill level requirements to participate in our events. We run both competitive and casual matches during our events so all skill levels will be able to enjoy!

Yes, just clean up after yourself. The venue only allows water as an outside drink.

Draft Brackets are the main event we typically run at Squid Socials. The strongest players at the event will be Team captains and draft their team from the available players. Once teams are drafted, they will all compete against each other in a round robin format. The team with the best record will win the event.

Completely. We run casual private battle lobbies for those that miss the Draft Bracket or chose not to participate.

Torontoroka is a yearly Splatoon in-person tournament series. Players make their own teams and compete against each other for the coveted first place finish and $200 starting prize pool.

Registration is done through on our start.gg page. Those that register earlier on will pay less.

Nintendo Switch 1 or 2, Dock, Copy of Splatoon 3, and Controller

Please bring a 3.5mm Plug for the Headset (there should be 3 rings). Please bring a headset that has an external mic.

USB-C charging cable is recommended.

We have a dedicated channel in our Discord for finding teammates for the event. Be sure to grab the Torontoroka Role!

Not at all. These events are hosted by the UofT Splatoon team, but they're open to anyone interested. Come join us and meet some amazing people.

No. Online drop-ins are always free.

No. UofT Splatoon runs its own server and that is where the drop-ins happen, so you will need to join it to play, even if you are already in the Splatoon Toronto Discord.
