How to join
Join UofT Splatoon
No night is announced right now. Dates are posted in the UofT Splatoon Discord, a separate server from Splatoon Toronto's, so that's the place to be to hear about the next one.
Just show up
There's never anything to register for. Come to BA2155 any time from 6.
Pay at the desk
$10 venue fee at the UTSmash desk, then head through to the Splatoon room next door.
Bring your Switch
We run eight setups. Bring your console and controller and have a great time with us!
What it's about
UTSmash Collabs are nights we run together with UTSmash, the University of Toronto's Smash club. They bring their monthly tournament, we bring the Splatoon, and everyone shares two rooms on the second floor of the Bahen Centre.
While UTSmash runs St. George Showdown, we keep a casual Splatoon setup going all night. Come straight from class, meet other students, and play as much or as little as you like. You don't need to be good at either game, and you don't need to stay the whole time.
Watch some Smash Ultimate, then drag a few Smash players over and talk them into trying Splatoon. From Salmon Run to Splat Zones, there's something for everyone.
Bahen Centre

Queen's Park Station
Line 1. Come up at the northwest corner of College and University, and head west along the north side of College.

Bahen Centre
Turn right onto St George Street and Bahen is just up the block on your left. Take the stairs or the elevator up to the second floor.
The 506 College streetcar stops at St George Street, right at the corner.
The rooms
Two rooms side by side. BA2155 is where you come in and check in, and where the Smash tournament runs. BA2165, through the back door, is the Splatoon room.
Food nearby
College Street is right there, with plenty of quick spots a couple of minutes away. Grab something before you come up, since it's a long night.
Getting there
Parking around campus is tight on a Friday evening, so the subway or the streetcar is the easy way in.
What to bring
Console, Splatoon 3 and Controller
Any type of Switch, any controller.
Dock and power brick
Only needed if you're not playing handheld. Always bring the brick.
A water bottle
It's a long night, so you'll want it.
Headphones
Handy if the room gets loud. Any kind that works with your Switch.
Forgot something? Ask staff first.
Every dock, adapter and charging brick on the tables belongs to someone. Don't take one off a setup, even for a minute. Find a staff member and we'll help you out.
Your first event
Come in through BA2155
Head up to the second floor of the Bahen Centre, check in at the UTSmash desk and pay the venue fee. Entering St. George Showdown costs extra, but if you're only here for Splatoon, the venue fee is all you pay.
Head through to BA2165
Go through the door at the far end of the shared wall into BA2165. Stop by the UofT Splatoon desk so we can check you've paid, and grab a free button pin while you're there.
Have fun!
Jump into a casual lobby, or wander back next door and watch some Smash Ultimate. Talk someone into trying Splatoon, try a few Smash games yourself, and make a night of it.
